Our Stopwatch feature allows you to track the time you spend making changes to your client’s website. Here’s how you use it:
Step 1
Login to your Glow account.
Step 2
Once logged in, click on Clients from the left hand menu and then on the name of any of your clients in the list of Live Clients.
Step 3
Click on Stopwatch from the inner menu.
Step 4
Now, using the Settings tab, you’re able to set the number of hours that you allow your client for custom development time each month.
Let’s say this is 2 hours, you would apply the setting ‘2’.
Step 5
Once you’ve done this, there are then 2 ways that time will be added to the Stopwatch for your client:
1. From a support ticket
Once you have closed a support ticket, you will be asked how long it took you to complete the work / resolve the client’s issue.
After confirming this and closing the ticket, that time will be added to the Stopwatch for that client.
2. By adding custom work
To add custom work, use the link in the top right corner of the Timeline section.
Here, you will be asked to:
- Describe the work completed
- State when it was done
- State how long it took
Then, just answer ‘Yes’ to the final question and the time will be added to Stopwatch.
