Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Glow account by requiring access to your phone, in addition to your password.
By using 2FA, anyone who tries to access your account will need both your password and an access code generated on your phone.
We highly recommend enabling 2FA on your account.
Step 1
Login to your Glow account and go to Team & Profile
from the main left hand menu.
Click on My Profile
and then the Security
tab.
Step 2
Click on the button that says Enable 2FA
and then download the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
When you’ve done that, click Next step
.
Step 3
Now open Google Authenticator on your phone, tap the + icon
and then scan the QR code showing in Glow.
Add the code showing on your Google Authenticator app into the Verify authentication code
field in Glow.
Click Next step
.
Step 4
You’ll now see your recovery codes
. Be sure to copy
or download
them and keep them safe. You’ll need these to unlock your account if you lose your phone.
When you’ve done that, click Next step
.
Step 5
Find one of your recovery codes and copy it.
Now paste that code into the box on this screen where it says: Enter one of your recovery codes below:
When you’ve done that, click the Finish
button.
You’ll now see a success message on screen, confirming that 2FA has been setup.
