Disconnecting an AI assistant

Last updated: September 4, 2026

A connection to an AI assistant can be ended at any time, from inside Glow. This takes effect immediately: the assistant loses access as soon as you disconnect, and cannot regain it without being approved again.

Disconnecting

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Open AI assistants.
  3. Find the connection you want to end and select Disconnect.

Each connection shows which assistant it is, who connected it, what it is permitted to do, and when it was last used, so you can tell an active connection from a forgotten one before removing it.

Ending someone else's connection

A connection belongs to the person who created it, and by default you see your own. Account owners also see connections made by anyone else on the team, labelled with whose they are.

This matters when somebody changes role or simply stops using an assistant: without it, a connection nobody is watching would have no one able to remove it.

What happens when you disconnect

Reconnecting later

Disconnecting does not blocklist an assistant. If you want it back, connect it again as normal and approve the permissions. See Connecting an AI assistant.

If you cannot see the connection you want to remove

You will only see your own connections unless you are an account owner. If you need to remove a colleague's connection and cannot see it, ask an owner, or contact support.
